I am most pleased to announce my participation in the Artsida 8 auction, as a new and unique artwork on paper of mine will be auctioned on Sunday March 11th at Place des Arts' Salon Urbain!
Opening Event Friday March 2nd at Galerie MX
The opening event and vernissage of Artsida8's benefit auction will take place on Friday, March 2nd at Galerie MX. This will be the only opportunity to view the complete collection of works before the auction. Come and meet the artists, and study their works closely, while enjoying wine and hors d'oeuvres!
This exhibition will also mark for me the official public launch of my new series of works on paper, with the unveiling and exhibition of a very particular artwork titled « Devenir Immortel », to be offered as the lot #26 during the Main Auction.

New Works on Paper
Having worked in recent months on new types of work, I am particularly thrilled to finally unveil and offer you a first glimpse of my brand new series... on paper!
The unique texture of this artwork was shaped by applying several layers of walnut oil paint on Arches paper with a painting knife, and carved to form a series of small parallel vertical slats covering all of its surface, similar to furrows of vinyl records.
In addition, the framing of this work for the auction will be sponsored by Encadrex.
