A Special Group Exhibition

Just in time to start the Holiday season, I am most pleased to announce that I will be part of Galerie Youn's special group exhibition: "A Very YOUNg Christmas!"

For that special occasion, a series of smaller original art works under $500 are being shown by a curated group of artists, most of whom are at an emerging stage, with some already established but young at heart.

Presented on the mezzanine gallery, this group exhibition will notably include works from the following artists: Jay Dart, Peter Chan, Annyen Lam, Michael Toke, Ron Loranger, Sarah Nind, Jordan Clayton, Sébastien Gaudette, Mass Dousseurk and myself.

VERNISSAGE: Friday, November 25th, from 7 pm - 9 pm

About Galerie Youn

Galerie Youn focuses on building bridges between local, national and international emerging to mid-career contemporary artists. The gallery participates in international art fairs and gallery exhibitions and represents more than twenty artists from around the world.

Originally founded in 2012 as the online gallery Flying Rooster Contemporary Projects, Galerie Youn opened as a brick-and-mortar space in May 2013. Located in the heart of the dynamic and creative Mile End district of Montreal, the gallery hosts a range of group and solo exhibitions throughout the year. Since its opening, Galerie Youn has established itself within the diverse milieu of galleries and art centres in Montreal.

Juno Youn, originally from South Korea, is a graduate of OCAD (drawing and painting, 1999), and a visual artist in his own right. Youn’s previous project, SPIN Gallery (Toronto), was in operation from 1999 to 2007.  In 2013, Juno Youn was named as Médiamosaïque’s “Diversity Top 20 Personalities of the Year” in Quebec.
